In what was his best game as a Saint, LB Manti Te’o put up impressive film in the Saints shellacking of the Atlanta Falcons in New Orleans. Like William Wallace leading his troops at the battle of Stirling Bridge, the underdog in Te’o used quick thinking, designed run blitzes and athletic ability to take away any advantage Atlanta might have against his LB group.
How was he able to have that success? That is what we cover in the below video. A combination of Dennis Allen’s playcalling, help from stars like Cameron Jordan and Manti’s own play.
While his snap count was still not the highest for all linebackers (Craig Robertson holds that mark) he was very effective when on the field.
As always, thanks for watching! Who or what would you like to see a film study on next? Who Dat and God Bless!
