Saints Inactives: CB Marshon Lattimore/FS Marcus Williams Out

Marcus Williams being out was expected, but being without Marshon Lattimore could put Saints in a bind.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints Scott Clause-USA TODAY Sports

Week 13’s inactive list is out for the New Orleans Saints. Here’s a look at who’s sitting for their matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

CB Marshon Lattimore

WR Austin Carr

DE Al-Quadin Muhammad

FS Marcus Williams

T Bryce Harris

RB Jonathan Williams

C Cameron Tom

For the Saints, Lattimore was expected to possibly play after practicing on a limited basis twice this week. Following warm-ups today, and after a conversation with the training staff, Lattimore and the team decided it would be best to continue to rest the ankle.

Terron Armstead is active and will resume his starting spot on the left side of the line. This will of course allow Andrus Peat to slide back down to LG where he has seen his best snaps over the course of the past two years.

Panthers Inactives:

QB Garrett Gilbert

CB LaDarius Gunter

OT Amini Silatolu

TE Greg Olsen

LB Andrew Gachkar

C Ryan Kalil

DE Zach Moore

While not having the rookie duo of Williams and Lattimore in the back end is certainly a blow to the Saints secondary, the Panthers missing Greg Olsen could help alleviate any pain they would normally feel.
