According to very early Thursday morning reports by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New Orleans Saints should have both Marshon Lattimore and Mark Ingram available for tonight’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Lattimore has been dealing with an ankle injury ever since the game against the Washington Redskins, which has forced him to miss the team’s past two games. It was reported that he was expected to play against the Panthers on Sunday, but after pre-game tests, the Saints held him out. Julio Jones and Atlanta’s passing game clearly poses a threat, but Dennis Allen should have his defense ready. Ken Crawley (abdomen) and P.J. Williams (shoulder) should be good to go as well.
As for Ingram (toe), perhaps it was more cautionary than anything. Along with rookie Alvin Kamara, these two have been tearing opposing defenses apart. Coming off a very short week, it would appear ground and pound would be a great way to get an important NFC South victory.
