This is getting kind of routine, but Alvin Kamara is up for his fifth Rookie of the Week win in a row and his sixth on the year so far. Between him and Marshon Lattimore, the New Orleans Saints rookie class has accounted for the award in seven of twelve weeks. That’s gotta be a record in its own right.
Voting will close soon, but there’s still time to make your voice heard!

In case you lost track, last week Kamara led the day in scrimmage yards, just barely surpassing Mark Ingram’s 122 yards with 126 of his own. Kamara was very much a dual-threat, running nine times for 60 yards and catching five of the six passes thrown his way for another 66 yards through the air. He also scored a nice pair of touchdowns, including this dramatic goal-line bounce off of a direct hit from Carolina Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson:

Kamara’s dominance can’t be understated, especially when compared to the rookie running backs drafted ahead of him. He’s just a monster setting an all-time great pace in both efficiency and volume production.
