Did the New England Patriots Win or Did the Atlanta Falcons Lose Super Bowl LI?

New, comments

The Patriots come back from the largest deficit in SB history, but do they deserve credit, or do the Falcons deserve the blame?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

So Super Bowl LI is in the books, and the Patriots were able to come back from down 28-3 to force overtime and eventually go on to win. Now that we have the luxury of hindsight, do you think the Patriots deserve all of the credit for the win, or did the Falcons choke a victory away?

Tom Brady is now likely to be considered the greatest QB in the history of the NFL with his record-setting fifth Super Bowl victory. At the same time, the Falcons had a questionable play call decision to pass instead of run near the end of regulation and then try for a field goal to seal the game. New England had a huge sack fumble of Matt Ryan to set up a TD to bring the Patriots within a single possession, but then Julian Edelman showed off incredible concentration (and even more incredible luck) to make a key catch to keep a scoring drive alive.

So what says you, you unbiased Saints fans? Did the Patriots will their team to victory, or did the Falcons #RiseUp for another choke? Vote in the poll. Explain in the comments. Send me presents.
