According to a Tuesday morning report by NFL Insider Rand Getlin, the New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Alex Okafor, formerly of the Arizona Cardinals.
I'm told OLB Alex Okafor has agreed to terms with the #Saints.

Okafor was reportedly hosted for a visit by the team on Monday, and has been hanging close to teammates like Kenny Vaccaro. The former fourth-round pick of the 2013 draft will certainly look to bolster the Saints pass rush, which has been a real weakness off the edge outside of Cameron Jordan. Okafor was a Sam linebacker in the Cardinals’ 3-4 scheme, and should transition to an edge presence for Dennis Allen.
Look for the Saints to still try and find a pass rusher in the draft, and they’ll have plenty of picks in the top half of the draft to do so. There’s way too many options not to come away with someone that will help bolster the other pieces of a formidable defensive line.
