The New Orleans Saints have hired retired NFL Cornerback Leigh Torrence as a new Defensive Assistant. Torrence was signed as an UDFA out of Stanford by the Green Bay Packers in 2005. He spent 8 seasons in the NFL playing for the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and New Orleans Saints (2008-2011). During that time Torrence played in 73 games with 1 start and totaled 108 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 9 Passes Defended, 2 INTs and 1 TD.
