With the 23rd pick in the 2017 Canal Street Chronicles community NFL Mock Draft, the New York Giants select....

Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama (6-foot-6, 322-pounds)

The Giants made big strides in improving their defense last season, and it paid off pretty well. However, there were major problems with the offensive line and keeping quarterback Eli Manning protected and giving him adequate time. Also, the offensive line was a huge issue in the running game, as the G-Men finished 29th in the league with just 88.3 rushing yards per game.

Alabama’s Cam Robinson is regarded by many as the best offensive tackle in this draft, and his physicality is exactly what the Giants need in their O-line rebuild. Coincidentally enough, Robinson’s pro comparison is current left tackle Ereck Flowers. The Giants could ultimately do some shifting by bringing in Robinson, and it’d probably be in there best interest with a struggling Flowers.
