The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us, and it’s certain to be very entertaining.
Apparently, the first pick of the draft (held by the Browns) shouldn’t take long, because general manager Sashi Browns claims to have known who he’s taking for the past two weeks. Of course, teams picking on the first night have 10 minutes to mull over who they’re taking and consider any trade offers.
An interesting note emerged from ESPN’s Adam Schefter this morning, saying the Saints were willing to trade their second-round pick to the Rams for cornerback Trumaine Johnson earlier this month. They’d trade 42 to the Rams for Johnson, but not flip it for Malcolm Butler? Hmm.
The draft begins at 7 p.m. CT, and will be televised on both ESPN and NFL Network. Viewers can stream it online, or just hang out here and make fun of who the other teams pick until the Saints get on the clock.
