New Orleans Saints Draft Picks 2017: Alex Anzalone goes at No. 76

The Saints use their second 3rd round pick to nab Florida’s Alex Anzalone.

NCAA Football: Senior Bowl-South Practice Glenn Andrews-USA TODAY Sports

After trading for another 3rd Round pick to nab Tennessee’s Alvin Kamara at 67th, the New Orleans Saints used their 76th overall pick to nab Florida Gators inside linebacker Alex Anzalone.

From NFL’s Scouting Report:

BOTTOM LINE: Anzalone's size, speed and athleticism will be tempting for teams looking for a linebacker who can play all three spots. However, concerns about his durability could cause some teams to shy away from him on the first two days of the draft. If he can stay healthy, he has the talent to become a solid three-down starter in the league.
