With the third pick in the 2017 Canal Street Chronicles Community NFL Mock Draft, the Chicago Bears select:

Jamal Adams, S, LSU (6-foot, 214-pounds)

Here’s what BayouBear72 had to say on the pick:

The Bears haven't had a reliable safety since Mike Brown left the team in 2008. Brown was oft-injured, but a playmaker nonetheless. Since that time, the safety position has been a turnstile of low end draft picks and bust free agents. Jamal Adams was a 3-year starter with LSU. He is a sure tackler and has great awareness. Adams is a natural leader and will be a day one starter in Chicago's secondary.
