The NFL announced the announcement of the release of the 2017 preseason schedule for Monday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. CT (or evening if you’re on the East Cost). Naturally, there will be a live show on NFL Network to break down this awesome spectacle. Of course, leaks will likely happen way before that, and we should have a pretty good idea when the New Orleans Saints play prior to the release.
We already know when the preseason starts with the Hall of Fame game being slated for Aug. 3 between the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. Going against the grain, the contest will be played on a Thursday prior to the enshrinement ceremony on Saturday. Perhaps this time it will actually get played, as last year’s Packers-Colts game was scrapped due to poor field conditions.
If you somehow forgot, longtime Saints kicker Morten Andersen will be one of the major highlights for fans during Hall of Fame ceremonies. The real NFL schedule will drop between Aug. 17-21, unless something crazy happens.
