Which Saints Game Are You Most Looking Forward to Attending In 2017?

Depending on your region or travel plans, a Saints game may be in your future this year. Tell us when and where!

The New Orleans Saints have a stronger national and even global fanbase than most give them credit for. While hundreds of thousands descend upon the Mercedes-Benz Superdome every NFL season, many Saints fans go to see the team when they visit other markets.

Whether the credit is given or not, there is no doubt that Who Dat Nation shows up in force on the road. Unsurprisingly, I witnessed this in person when I attended my first Saints game last season when the Saints played in San Diego. It was a spectacle to behold, seeing all the Saints fans take over and really fire up the team late in the fourth quarter of one of the most improbable victories I've ever seen.

Personally, I’ll be attending two games this year, in two vastly different stadiums. First is the Preseason Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Chargers at StubHub Center in August. This will be a unique opportunity to see the Saints in an intimate venue, like seeing your favorite popular band in a local bar rather than an NBA arena. The StubHub Center only seats around 30,000 people, which would be equivalent to watching the Saints play at Tulane’s Benson Field.

The second game comes in Week 12 of the regular season when the Saints face the Los Angeles Rams the Sunday following Thanksgiving. The Rams temporarily call the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum home, and the Coliseum couldn't possible contrast StubHub Center more. We go from the NFL’s smallest venue to the largest by capacity, as the LA Memorial Coliseum seats roughly 93,000 people. It’s old, strangely arranged, and oversized, but it’s local and the Saints will be there, so, so will I.

I won't be the only Saints fan at these games by a long shot, as thousands of Saints fans will be in attendance, hopefully some of you will be at these games (tell us in the comments). But that’s just what I’m looking forward to. Which games are you really looking forward to be at? Will you be traveling to the Superdome from abroad? Are you local, or even a lucky season ticket holder looking forward to a particular game? Are you going to see the Saints on the road, or even traveling with a large group to cheer on the Saints and take over a stadium? Let’s hear about it! Let’s check out the schedule for a refresher.

Here’s a look at the 2017 New Orleans Saints schedule:

We want to here from you! Which game (or games) listed above are you most looking forward to attending this year? Whether it be at the Dome or on the road, whether you have tickets now, plan on getting tickets, or just hope to score tickets, tell us which of these you have circled as a must see in person!
