The NFL released their preseason schedule dates on Tuesday afternoon, and we know how the New Orleans Saints will shape up. We’ve known about the opponents for a considerable amount of time, but were given roundabout dates for some matchups.
2017 New Orleans Saints preseason schedule
- Week 1 (Thursday, Aug. 10 at 7:00 p.m.): at Cleveland Browns
- Week 2 (Sunday, Aug. 20 at 7:00 p.m.): at Los Angeles Chargers
- Week 3 (Saturday, Aug. 26 at 7:00 p.m.): vs. Houston Texans
- Week 4 (Thursday, Aug. 31 at 7:00 p.m.): vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Saints won’t have any national televised preseason games, which means only local markets that have access to Raycom Media broadcasting will get to see the team play. Per the NFL’s release, NFL Network is said to provide extensive coverage for preseason games, which is to include some live game broadcasts for all weeks. That schedule won’t hit until July.
The team heads into a 3-day rookie minicamp starting on Friday, which will also host tryouts for some players looking to crack the team’s 90-man roster.
