With OTAs officially under way, Bleacher Report has named the undrafted free agent most likely to make each team’s roster. For the Saints, it was Cornerback Arthur Maulet out of the University of Memphis.

It isn't all that difficult to see why Maulet slid out of the 2017 draft. His 4.62 40-yard dash at the combine certainly didn't blow anyone away. Maulet allowed to Hagan that things do indeed move a lot faster at the NFL level.

"The way the speed is, it's totally different from college," says Maulet. "It's a whole new level. It's like they hit the fast-forward button."

However, in 963 snaps a year ago, Maulet graded out fourth overall among cornerbacks at Pro Football Focus. His passer rating against of 39.6 in slot coverage ranked inside the top 10 as well. Maulet also peeled off 18 reps on the bench press in Indy, one of the best showings among his position and a testament to his physicality.

Coming from the University of Memphis, Maulet grew up familiar with the South and is close to friends and family while down in New Orleans. While the Saints drafted high-profile CB Marshon Lattimore in the 1st Round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Maulet absolutely has a shot to make the New Orleans Saints roster behind returning Cornerbacks Delvin Breaux, PJ Williams, Damian Swann, Sterling Moore and De’Vante Harris.

Another local product, LSU WR Travin Dural was not named by Bleacher Report, but reports are that he has also yet to see time with the first team offense, namely Saints QB Drew Brees.
