The New Orleans Saints host their first preseason home game tonight against the Houston Texans. The third preseason game is widely acknowledged as the "dress rehearsal" game, so expect to see the Saints' starters more tonight than at any point in the preseason. Tonight is the time to get one of the most honest portrayals of what the Saints may be fielding when they kickoff the 2017 NFL regular season on September 11th.

The Saints defense was outstanding last week in Los Angeles, and that will hopefully continue tonight against the Texans. The offense, on the other hand, really continued to look pedestrian without Drew Brees and once Alvin Kamara left the game. Hopefully, we see the starters shine in their limited time in this game.
