The New Orleans Saints finally returned home to suit up for their 3rd preseason game of the year, and what a homecoming it was. The Saints held the Texans to zero points and played one of their best defensive games in recent memory. In case you missed it, we have made yet another video that highlights the best plays from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome last night.
The offense didn't have a great night, despite having Drew Brees for a good portion of the first half. Tommylee Lewis, Michael Thomas, and Chase Daniel did still have good moments, but it was guys like P.J. Williams, Marshon Lattimore, Sheldon Rankins and star defensive end Cam Jordan that really made the difference.
The Saints play the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night in the preseason finale, and it will be interesting to see if Dennis Allen’s defense can continue their great form against an undefeated team.
