The New Orleans Saints released their inactives for tonight’s Monday Night Football contest against the Minnesota Vikings.
We already knew about the three players who were ruled out on Saturday (Terron Armstead, Nate Stupar, and Trey Hendrickson). Stupar is dealing with a hamstring injury, while Hendrickson has an undisclosed illness and Armstead is recovering from shoulder surgery, but is reportedly ahead of schedule.
The other players who won’t go tonight include cornerback Ken Crawley, Stephone Anthony (who was deemed questionable with an ankle injury), and recently acquired wide receiver Austin Carr and quarterback Taysom Hill. That means the Saints will only be rolling with four receivers on the night (Thomas, Ginn, Lewis, and Coleman).
Players like Mitchell Loewen, Al-Quadin Muhammad, and Trey Edmunds will be among the many seeing their first regular season game action of their career.
The Saints also promoted linebacker Adam Bighill from the practice squad, and terminated the contract of offensive tackle Bryce Harris for tonight’s game.
