Saints vs Patriots: Thursday Injury Report

With Strief out, the new pre-game chant should be, “Must Protect Brees.”

Most glaring recent injury is RT Zach Strief. Keeping Drew Brees upright will be the O-lines biggest challenge with our current depth at the position. Last weeks lack of production can be tied to the dismal protection of our quarterback. One dangerous looking sack and zero time to find his receivers down the field made for a poor offensive showing. Strief will likely miss at least four games.

LT Terron Armstead was also listed as DNP, with DE Trey Hendrickson, LB Nate Stupar, and LB Stephone Anthony all limited.
