Patriots vs. Saints: Week 2 Live Game Thread

After both the Patriots and Saints saw losses in Week 1, they look to avoid the dreaded 0-2 start in a very important clash that we’re not sure what will bring.

New Orleans Saints v New England Patriots

The New Orleans Saints host the New England Patriots in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in Week 2, as both teams are looking for their first victory of the season. Most everyone should be able to catch this game on CBS, with this receiving top billing from their network’s top crew of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo.

Last time the Patriots visited in 2009 saw the Saints win in impressive fashion 38-17, but that was a different team back then. The black and gold have had plenty of woes of their own to deal with. Sean Payton’s squad haven’t won in the month of September in almost three years, dating back to Week 3 of the 2014 season when they defeated the Vikings 20-0 on Sep. 14.

Elsewhere across the NFC South, all teams are at home. The Panthers host the Bills, the Buccaneers host the Bears, and the Falcons host the Packers on Sunday Night Football.
