The New Orleans Saints released their list of inactives for Sunday’s Week 2 meeting against the New England Patriots. Offensive tackles Terron Armstead (shoulder) and Zach Strief (knee) were ruled out on Friday, so here’s the other five players that won’t go today.
QB Taysom Hill, WR Austin Carr, DE Al-Quadin Muhammad, LB Stephone Anthony, and CB Ken Crawley are all out of action.
Anthony, Nate Stupar, and Trey Hendrickson were all limited participants during Friday’s practice session, but Stupar and Hendrickson are active. The Patriots are fairly banged up as well, and will be without starters Dont’a Hightower and Danny Amendola. They’ll also be without Matt Slater, Vincent VAlentine, LaAdrian Waddle, and Cole Croston.
In other news, the Saints are planning to use Andrus Peat at left tackle while kicking out rookie Ryan Ramczyk at right tackle. Assuming nothing changes, they’ll use Senio Kelemete at left guard. This will be one situation to watch, and may be a glimpse into the future offensive line.
