Divisional Round Saints At Vikings Wednesday Injury Report: Andrus Peat, Tony McDaniel to IR

No surprise about Peat but didn’t see McDaniel coming.

NFL: NFC Wild Card-Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Before we get to the meat of the injury report the Saints have placed two more players on IR. That brings the total not counting Nick Fairley to 20. Andrus Peat we all expected. He was transported off the field by cart with a reported broken fibula. Tony McDaniel whose wife went to the hospital reported in labor, chose to remain and play. To booster the offensive line the Saints have brought back G Bryce Harris. To replace DT McDaniel the team has moved up DT Woodrow Hamilton to the 53 from the practice squad.

For the Saints matchup against Minnesota, Brandon Coleman (neck) was the only player who did not practice.

Limited were LT Terron Armstead, DE Trey Hendrickson, TE Michael Hoomanawanui, DE Cam Jordan, DT Sheldon Rankins, and CB P.J. Williams. The complete injury report is below including those for the Vikings.
