Alvin Kamara, folks. Give this man the Offensive Rookie of the Year award already.

Simply incredible would be one way to describe the New Orleans Saints rookie class. Alvin Kamara has done it again, winning Week 17’s Pepsi Rookie of the Week award. It’s the seventh time Kamara has taken it down, as his performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was quite impressive.

Despite a loss, Kamara shined with 44 yards on the ground on nine carries, scoring a 7-yard touchdown in the process. He added six receptions for 84 yards, and a 106-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

The Saints ended up taking down the weekly NFL rookie award 11 out of 17 weeks this season, with Marshon Lattimore getting the honor four times. Although they were never nominated, the entire rookie draft class (both drafted and undrafted) has been a huge reason for the Saints getting back into the playoffs for the first time since 2013. Not to be forgotten, Ryan Ramczyk and Marcus Williams both graded out as Top 10 rookies, according to Pro Football Focus.
