If you’re just waking up for the day, then you’re in for a treat. Sunday morning has football, with an 8:30 a.m. CT kickoff (1:30 p.m. local kick) from Wembley Stadium in London. The Tennessee Titans (3-3) clash with the Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) in some AFC supremacy and early playoff seed battling. It’s the 46th time in franchise history that these two meet, with the Lightning Bolts leading the all-time series 27-17-1. Of course, that dates back to the old days of the Houston Oilers, for those who don’t remember.
The last meeting between these two came on November 6, 2016 in a high-scoring affair that saw the Chargers come out on top at home 43-35. Mike Vrabel’s squad currently leads the AFC South, while Anthony Lynn’s team is second in the AFC West.
How to Watch
The game will be nationally televised on CBS. The play-by-play team consists of Greg Gumbel, Trent Green, and Bruce Arians.
