The Saints have signed two cornerbacks on Thursday in an attempt to address secondary issues and depth. Reported earlier was the signing of CB Josh Robinson, and they have also signed CB Demetri Goodson. DT Jay Bromley was released to make room for both. The team already had a roster spot open. More roster moves should be in the works, RB Mark Ingram, is currently under a roster exemption from his 4 game suspension and they will have to make a move by Saturday at 4 PM. It was reported that RB Scott Boston was working during practice as a returner. Could his status change as well?

CB Demetri Goodson was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 6th round of the 2014 draft. The Baylor University player has played in 26 games with the packers, starting 3. He didn’t play in 2017, starting out on the PUP list with a knee injury. Once activated he suffered a hamstring injury and missed 2 games before being placed on IR with an ankle injury.

Goodson has played in 26 games for Green Bay, starting 3. Has 22 solo tackles, 8 assist, and 2 pass breakups. The Saints have looked a a slew of defensive backs and apparently Demetri was one of the players that impressed the organization.
