The Saints have done it ladies and gentlemen. They have knocked off the LA Rams and found them selves at the top of the NFL power rankings. There was so much celebration that cell towers went back to 2G and Michael Thomas had to use a flip phone to call the game. I was up north at a Bar and Grill watching last weeks game with some Saints fans and we had that entire place on another level. It seems like things are swinging in the balance for New Orleans now. Your fantasy team was also swinging haymakers last week if you had Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, or Michael Thomas. Those three alone led fantasy points on Draft Kings. Something else to celebrate as a State is that more than 90 percent of Louisiana approved Fantasy Sports Contests on November 6th and after the first of the year we can all start making a little cash out of the pastime we love. Thanks to all the voters who made this possible.

So now we’ve arrived at Week 10. Today the Saints face off with the Cincinnati Bengals and there’s some key factors to look into if you’re playing some players from this one in your lineups today. Major news on the Saints side of the ball is that Dez Bryant was signed on Thursday and after one day he’s out for the rest of the season with a torn Achilles. You hate to see this for any athlete and if you were one of the players who scooped him up you’re left with a very crappy feeling inside ( I promise there’s still other players brewing up big numbers coming in the near future).

The Bengals have some Wide Receiver woes of their own. News dropped last week that A.J. Green was in a walking boot but would be a go for today’s matchup. Turns out that the toe injury he’s suffering is more serious than they thought. So with Green being out there’s speculation on who the top guys should be this week but the usual suspect should have some company today.

Bengals players that I see shining today include Tyler Boyd and John Ross. Ross is my key guy. He’s coming off an injury and is someone to really could do some damage deep down the field. The Saints defense can tend to let those deep shots get to them and that’s something that Ross can bring to the table. Tyler Boyd is obviously a must start after this huge year he’s having. You just can’t go wrong with the guy at this point and you can’t bench him even if you wanted to with AJ green being out. With the Saints still giving up 36 points on average to Wide Receivers, start your Bengals Receivers!

I don’t really know what more to tell you on the Saints side of the ball other than start em all! This Cincinnati Defense is complete TRASH! They allow 23 points on average to Quarterbacks, 23 to Running Backs, 27 to Wide Receivers, 11 to Tight Ends, and 9 to Kickers. With a defense like that you go all in at the card table and don’t look back. There’s always the possibility that some crazy spark on defense happens and they wake up today with the hottest team in the NFC visiting town, but that’s the risk you take with numbers glowing like these. I’m playing Benjamin Watson, Alvin Kamara, and Wil Lutz in my lineups today.
