FOX’s Game of the Week features the Philadelphia Eagles (4-5) visiting the Big Easy to take on the red-hot New Orleans Saints (8-1). Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will have the call, as Sean Payton’s squad look to keep their impressive eight-game winning streak intact. It’ll be the 31st time these two meet, which includes three playoff clashes (1992, 2006, and 2013 seasons). The Eagles lead the all-time series 17-13, with their last victory coming at home in a regular season game in 2015. Prior to that, the Saints had won three straight (2009, 2012, 2013 Wild Card). New Orleans is 8-7 at home against Philadelphia in the regular season.
Drew Brees is playing some of his best football right now, as well as Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, and a host of others. The Saints should be tested by an Eagles squad who might get very pass-happy and look to take the Superdome out of it early. It won’t be easy, as the Saints have reasserted themselves as a fairly strong team at home.
