Entering Week 13, the New Orleans Saints are still in a great spot for the playoffs. Sure, there is one more game to go on the NFL’s schedule for Week 12, but that won’t affect things in the NFC. The latest playoff picture has the Saints sitting as the NFC’s No. 1 seed, which would mean they’d have a first-round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Around the NFC South: No more bye weeks from here on out, and the Saints will get things starting on Thursday Night when they travel to Texas to take on the resurgent Cowboys. The Ravens travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons, while the Panthers go south to take on the Bucs.
A Saints win and a Panthers loss would allow New Orleans to win the NFC South.
Matchups to watch: The Rams will take on the pitiful Lions during the early games on Sunday, while other division leader the Bears travel to East Rutherford to take on the Giants. As of now, no one in the division can jump the Saints, but a loss would give way for the Rams to take over the top spot.
