4 daily fantasy players from Week 15: Saints at Panthers

Four players for your daily fantasy lineups.

Carolina Panthers v New Orleans Saints
NEW ORLEANS, LA - DECEMBER 03: Alvin Kamara #41 of the New Orleans Saints runs the ball against the Carolina Panthers during the second half of a NFL game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on December 3, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana. If you’re a daily fantasy player, before each game I will look at three/four players from the New Orleans Saints and their opponent’s rosters that I would target in daily fantasy (based off their value and potential results).

Obviously, Saints QB Drew Brees is a safe QB for daily fantasy leagues, but spending your money on a top-tier starting QB leaves you scraping the barrel to fill out the rest of your roster.

So here are three Saints and one Panther that provide the most bang for your buck. (Values from Fanduel.)

QB Drew Brees (NO) - $8,400

Drew Brees has had two mediocre games in a row now, first with Dallas and last week against Tampa Bay. That has caused his cost in daily fantasy to drop. He’s now tied as the third most expensive QB in daily fantasy. With a Panthers secondary that has struggled of late, especially defending deep balls, Brees could have another MVP-caliber game in prime time.

RB Alvin Kamara (NO) - $8,000

Drew isn’t the only Saint to be the victim of a couple of bad games. Kamara, still one of the highest-scoring running backs in daily fantasy, is now a whopping $1,800 cheaper than the most expensive RB available this week. Like Drew, look for Kamara to bounce back in a big away against Carolina.

WR DJ Moore (CAR) - $6,300

This is just an issue of value. Moore comes $2,500 cheaper than the most expensive WR available in daily fantasy, and that’s incredible value for a #1 receiver. Being the #1 receiver in Carolina likely means he’s lined up against Marshon Lattimore for the majority of the game, but even if it’s only in garbage time, Moore could provide plenty of bang for the buck.

Saints DST - $3,500

This one might come as a bit of a surprise to most, but to anyone who’s watched the past few weeks of the Saints, they should completely understand. The Saints defense has made massive strides of late, including racking up over 10 sacks in the last two weeks alone. Look for the Saints to go after Cam Newton all night long. At $1,500 cheaper than the most expensive DST in daily fantasy, there’s surprising value here.
