Saints sole player listed as not practicing was newly claimed TE Erik Swoope (knee). He may have failed his physical because it’s reported the Saints have released him.
After claiming TE Erik Swoope off waivers yesterday, the #Saints are releasing him, source said. So he’s back out there in the mix. A quick trip to New Orleans.

T Terron Armstead (pectoral), T Ryan Ramczyk (shoulder), G Andrus Peat (ankle/shoulder), that sounds a little strange, and S Kurt Coleman (elbow) were limited.
For the Panthers two players missed practice for rest according to their injury report, DE Julius Peppers and LB Thomas Davis. S Mike Adams (rest/wrist) also falls into this category abet with injury. T Chris Clark (knee), K Graham Gano (left knee), and S Rashaan Gaulden (illness) also didn’t practice.
QB Cam Newton (shoulder) and DT Kawann Short (calf) were limited.
