Steelers vs. Saints: Week 16 second half open thread

Second half action in the Big Easy as the Saints lead 17-14.

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers are having an entertaining showdown in the Crescent City. Currently, the score is 17-14 at halftime after Pittsburgh piloted a touchdown drive at the end of the second quarter and Alvin Kamara did some crazy footwork to set up a Wil Lutz field goal before halftime.

The Steelers elected to receive the opening kickoff, but weren’t able to do anything with it. The Saints returned the favor by having Taysom Hill throw a pick on a ball that was underthrown and intended for Ted Ginn Jr. Pittsburgh cashed in, but only getting a field goal out of it. New Orleans would then but a touchdown drive together that was aided by a questionable pass interference call on Joe Haden in the end zone. Mark Ingram would run it in to become the team’s all-time touchdown rushing leader.

Pittsburgh would would add another field goal after not being able to punch it into the end zone, and New Orleans would answer with a touchdown drive of their own that ended with Alvin Kamara essentially becoming a human pinball machine.

The Saints will get the ball to start the second half.
