Saints Fantasy Football Advice For The Fantasy Football Championship (Week 16)

Its Week 16 and for most of america and the world its Fantasy Football Championship Week. You’ve worked hard all season to ensure your ticket to the bowl and now your time has come. This is definitely the most anticipated game of Week 16 and for Saints fans, a win in this game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is the ticket to home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Personally that sounds “Ohhh so good” (Dak Prescott voice).

There is so much potential fantasy production between the Steelers and the Saints. On the Steelers side of the ball you have studs that have been known to ball out in the fantasy football game on a consistent basis. Unfortunately this year they've been faced with losing their star running back LeVeon Bell.

However, with James Conner and Jaylen Samuels emerging, we’ve seen that either the Steelers Offensive line is so good that your grandma could could eat yardage there or the front office constantly finds the diamonds in the rough when drafting. Either way the position hasn't lacked anything. Today I’m all in on Samuels. In Yahoo and ESPN leagues you can fire this guy up in the Tight End spot! That’s right, the position that you've been most plagued with this year can be filled with a running back. Get Samuels in your lineups today against the Saints Defense.

When it comes to Pittsburgh Wide Receivers they are usually unmatched when it comes to fantasy value. Most of you probably drafted Antonio Brown very high this year but the real excitement comes from those of you who snagged JuJu Smith-Schuster in the middle to late rounds. JuJu has played fantastic this season (and as you can see above he loves fantasy football) and when you pair him with Brown you get the most electric receiver tandem in the league.

Today I’m still a little concerned with Smith-Schuster and his groin injury but you have to give him the start along with Brown (no brainer). After comments made by Cam Jordan earlier in the week directed at Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Jordan argued that Roethlisberger was not a future Hall of Fame Quarterback and I think this was a great alpha move on Cam’s part. This Saints defense has become the number one Defense in the League allowing around 12 points a game!

Im not sold on starting the unit. There’s other options out there on the wire and with the Steelers fired up to keep their crown in the AFC North after the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Los Angles Chargers, they'll come with their A game.

I’m personally starting Saints Quarterback Drew Brees today in my fantasy football championship. I know that the offense hast played that effectively as of late but with the team being back in the dome the Who Dat juices should get back flowing again and I firmly believe that. Fire up the black and gold with confidence today.

The Steelers defense is also giving up some good points to the Tight End position so keep your eyes on Benjamin Watson in the Red Zone. Boom And Zoom is all systems go. Yes Both! Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have my vote of approval today going against this Pittsburgh defense.

This game is so huge for New Orleans and for us fans we know how powerful the dome can be when the playoffs are on the line. Its time to rally around this team and today. Its time to win yourself a fantasy championship today. Don't hold back the excitement and go H.A.M. Its been a pleasure writing and helping you with your Saints Players in Fantasy football this season and I look forward to continue with the help next season.
