The New Orleans Saints are set for a Week 1 NFC South rematch against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it looks to be a soggy and wet affair. The field was covered with a tarp well in advance of the massive amounts of rain, but poor conditions are likely to be a point of emphasis in this game.

It’s the 54th time that these two meet, with the Bucs winning the past two. New Orleans leads the all-time series 32-21, with Dirk Koetter’s squad shocking everyone in Week 1 courtesy of Ryan Fitzpatrick in a 48-40 Superdome win. The Saints have lost their past two games at Raymond James Stadium, with each being decided by 7 points or less.

Sean Payton and company can clinch the NFC South with a victory today, which would naturally assure them a second straight postseason appearance. Look for a heavy dose of run attacks in this one, as the Saints could look to control the clock with Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram.
