The New Orleans Saints preseason opponents are out, as the NFL released the full 65-game schedule on Wednesday evening, minus the actual dates and times of most games. Here’s how the black and gold check out:
- Game 1 (Aug. 9-13): at Jacksonville Jaguars
- Game 2 (Aug. 16-20): vs. Arizona Cardinals
- Game 3 (Aug. 25): at Los Angeles Chargers, 7:00 p.m. CT (CBS)
- Game 4 (Aug. 30-31): vs. Los Angeles Rams
Last season, the Saints opened against the Browns and stuck with an all-AFC opponent schedule with the Chargers, Texans, and Ravens. They ended up splitting the preseason, going 2-2.
Typically, the preseason games are subject to being broadcast on Raycom Media outlets for local fans. Official times are to be announced. The team’s 2018 offseason workout program kicks off on April 16, with OTAs set to start on May 22.
This is only a precursor to the bigger pie in the sky, the regular season schedule.
