Based off reports so far, the Saints will play five nationally-televised prime time games in 2018, including two Monday Night Football appearances and the Thanksgiving headliner. That’s more prime time games than the Saints appeared in between the last two seasons combined (two games each). However, just two of those games will be held in New Orleans.
The bad news is the Saints are looking to play three games in eleven days - hosting the Eagles and Falcons back-to-back on November 18 and 22, then traveling to Dallas on November 29. The good news is the Saints will likely get a bye week close to the middle of the season, qualifying for weeks six, seven, nine, and ten. Hope for the latter.
