The 2018 NFL Draft is wrapping up, and the New Orleans Saints have made their sixth selection at 201 overall in the sixth round: running back Boston Scott from the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. The Saints’ previous picks include edge defender Marcus Davenport, wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith, offensive lineman Rick Leonard, defensive back Natrell Jamerson, and cornerback Kamrin Moore Here’s a quick overview from Hero Sports’s Andrew Doughty:
Scott has a remarkably well-rounded, all-purpose game for his size. Rarely are diminutive college running backs not scheme- or system-dependent and they almost never have the power to be effective on between-the-tackles, goal-line runs.
