According to Nick Underhill of The Advocate (@Nick_Underhill), the New Orleans Saints are bringing back another of their own on Thursday, re-signing fullback Zach Line. The 27-yr. old Line began his career with the Minnesota Vikings in 2013, bouncing back and forth between their practice squad and active roster before joining the Saints in 2017 as a free agent.

Line played in 12 games for the Saints in 2017 after replacing injured starter John Kuhn. He rushed for 28 yards on 7 carries, caught 2 passes for 8 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for a 1-yd. score in the Saints wild card playoff win over the Carolina Panthers. Line's most important contribution to the New Orleans offense is his outstanding blocking ability. The hard-nosed fullback paved the way for the 5th ranked Saints rushing attack, as Pro Bowl running backs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara combined for 1,852 yards and 20 touchdowns.
