It’s Strief’s job if he wants it at this point.

After early reports that Zach Strief was rising to the top of the list of potential play-by-play callers for the New Orleans Saints, it appears the job is all but locked up.

According to Nick Underhill of The Advocate, Zach Strief has been offered the radio play-by-play job to replace Saints legend Jim Henderson.

If Strief were to accept the position, he would be reunited with former teammate Deuce McAllister in the press box.

Between Strief and Deuce, that would be a combined 20 years in the NFL, 2 Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl, all for the New Orleans Saints.

Jim Henderson is impossible to replace in the hearts and ears of the Who Dat Nation everywhere, but Strief certainly seems up for the task.
