The New Orleans Saints continue the 2018 Preseason on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers tonight. The Saints have been regular visitors to Southern California the last few years and the California sun has clearly been kind to them with the team going 2-0 against the Chargers in their past two West Coast matchups.

The Saints faced the Chargers at StubHub Center almost exactly a year ago, in the second Preseason game of 2018. The Saints won that game 13-7, nearly shutting out the Chargers if not for a 99-yard Ryan Nassib pick-six in the fourth quarter. The most memorable play, of course, came on the Saints’ opening drive, when Alvin Kamara tore off a 50-yard touchdown run. Hopefully the Saints leave SoCal with a fantastic performance, in what is regarded as the most important game of the usually unimportant preseason.
