Especially now that sports betting is legal (or at least up to most states to decide now), expect a lot of fund betting lines to come out of the woodwork.

BetOnline.ag has just released their betting odds for picking the exact standings in each division in the NFL. For the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South, here’s how they line up the odds:

• NFC SOUTH

Atlanta Falcons

1st Place +175 2nd Place +200 3rd Place +275 4th Place +600

Carolina Panthers

3rd Place +175 2nd Place +225 1st Place +300 4th Place +400

New Orleans Saints

1st Place +140 2nd Place +200 3rd Place +300 4th Place +800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

4th Place -200 3rd Place +350 2nd Place +600 1st Place +1200

In case you are unfamiliar with betting lines, generally speaking, a positive number is the amount of money you win with a $100 bet. Conversely, a negative number indicates the amount of money you need to bet in order to win $100.

So what do these odds tell us?

The projected finish in the NFC South goes something like this:

First place: New Orleans Saints

Second place: Atlanta Falcons

Third Place: Carolina Panthers

Fourth Place: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Looking at other prop bets (just in case you’re interested), the Saints have the second best odds to be the highest scoring team in the NFL in 2018 (behind only the New England Patriots), and the seventh best odds to finish with the NFL’s best record.
