Not surprising is the fact that several of the players the Saints released have already be signed by other teams. In fact, thus far the Saints and the Buffalo Bills have had the most players waived, claimed by other teams.
No team claimed more players off of waivers than the Giants, with seven.

The Bills and Saints had the most players they waived this weekend claimed, with four apiece.
The Dolphin have claimed short time Saint, WR. Tanner McEvoy, the Giants CB Kamrin Moore, Houston Texans Natrell Jamerson, and the Indianapolis Colts Al-Quadin Muhammad.

Practice squad signing are also being reported and will be updated as they occur. First report to be signed to the practice squad was TE Garrett Griffin. WR Keith Kirkwood, QB J.T. Barrett, OT Rick Leonard, former Green Bay Packers LB Vince Biegel, DT Woodrow Hamilton IV, TE Deon Yelder, OT Nate Wozniak, and DE Alex Jenkins. Alex Jenkins is subject to the International exemption so we have room for two more. Stay tuned.
It appears the final two aver been added to the practice squad. It’s reported that RB Dwayne Washington and RB Jonathan Williams have agreed to terms with the Saints to join rest. We now have a total of 11 practice squad members. Dwayne Washington was waived by the Detroit Lions 9-1-18.
