Both the Saints and Falcons look to avoid going to 1-2 on the year, but it would appear New Orleans needs this game more.

Week 3 has somewhat important things at stake, as the New Orleans Saints (1-1) travel to take on the Atlanta Falcons (1-1) in an early NFC South showdown. The Saints look to pick up their first road win of the season, and are also looking to avoid falling to 0-2 in the divisional race.

It’ll be the 99th time these two teams meet, which includes one postseason meeting. Atlanta leads the all-time series 52-46. Both teams split their games in 2017, with each home team winning their respective matchup. The Saints have lost three out of the last four on the road, with a lone win from the 2015 season to show for.

It’s Matt Ryan vs. Drew Brees. Dan Quinn matching wits with Sean Payton. Julio Jones and Michael Thomas in action. Need I say more for the NFL’s most underrated rivalry?
