New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is up for Week 3’s FedEx Air Player of the Week after a stellar performance against the Atlanta Falcons. Brees went 39-of-49 (79.6 completion percentage) for 396 yards and 3 touchdowns (120.7 passer rating) en route to a thrilling 43-37 overtime victory, helping the Saints improve to 2-1 on the year.
Brees also added two touchdowns on the ground, one of which included a spin move that you’d probably see in a Madden game. The other was just the winner in overtime, no big deal. Brees is up against Los Angeles Rams’ Jared Goff and Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger.
