Another week down across the league, and a lot has happened through the NFL’s first five weeks of the regular season. From player drama to teams flat out falling on their faces, it’s been an exciting 2019. The latest FanPulse results have New Orleans Saints back in the confident driver’s seat after that brief detour between Week 2-3 when Drew Brees went down. This week’s national question tackled which player is leading the race for NFL MVP, and everyone sided with Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey. It’ll be interesting to see if he lasts the entire season.

The Saints are now 3-0 with Teddy Bridgewater and 4-1 on the season with back-to-back road trips on their plate against the Jaguars and Bears. New Orleans is a small underdog going into this weekend, as some have labeled this a ‘trap game’ for Sean Payton’s squad. The team is playing some outstanding defense, and with Bridgewater finding his groove, it’s tough to suggest that the Saints will fall flat to Gardner Minshew Mania, but we’ll see.
