The New Orleans Saints (5-1) are getting ready to do battle with the Chicago Bears (3-2) at Soldier Field for a 3:25 p.m. kickoff. Five players were previously ruled out on Friday’s final injury report, which makes the inactive list pretty easy to sift through on Sunday. Here’s who’s out for Sean Payton’s squad.
- QB Drew Brees (right thumb)
- RB Alvin Kamara (ankle/knee)
- TE Jared Cook (ankle)
- WR Tre’Quan Smith (ankle)
- DE Trey Hendrickson (neck)
- OL Ethan Greenidge
- CB Ken Crawley
Zach Zenner, who was recently signed to the active roster this week, will immediately suit up for action for the Saints offense. New Orleans will do their best without some key offensive weaponry in Alvin Kamara, leaning on a heavy dose of Latavius Murray and Michael Thomas. Dan Arnold was promoted from the practice squad to also fill in today, and will make his 2019 Saints debut along with Saquan Hampton.
