Tom Brady - New Orleans Saints Hero pt 2

Almost two years to the date, it’s time to re-visit an old piece.

On February 7, 2017, I wrote this piece explaining why New Orleans Saints fans should be thankful for the man that is Tom Brady.

In a nutshell, he’s embarrassed Roger Goodell, kept the Carolina Panthers from winning their first Super Bowl, and kept the Atlanta Falcons from winning their first Super Bowl. With the Falcons, it wasn’t even just that, though:

With victory almost certainly in-hand, the Falcons eventually Falconed away a 25-point lead to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots...Atlanta still has that empty trophy case. They still get to be the butt of our choke jokes, and it’s all thanks to the Patriots.

But guess what, Saints fans?

He’s done it again.

On his way to his record-breaking sixth Super Bowl championship, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots were able to beat the Los Angeles Rams, who didn’t deserve to be in the Super Bowl in the first place. Tom Brady and the Patriots were able to hammer that point home.

Now, Tom Brady is responsible for giving the NFL one of the worst Super Bowls in the history of the NFL which culminated in a ten-year low for viewership across the United States (and a historical low in the New Orleans market).

Any time the Saints have needed a Super Bowl team to fall by the wayside, Tom Brady has been there to help bail Saints fans out.

So, I’ve asked it once and I’ll ask it again:

Should we like, send them a card or something?
