POLL: Would you rather...Ingram or Murray?

Now we know the contract figures.

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Simmer down before you jump in the comments and explain that the answer is obvious. Not so fast...

So the New Orleans Saints signed Mark Ingram’s replacement before Ingram was officially signed on to another team. Latavius Murray comes to the Saints on a four-year deal, with only the first two seasons containing guaranteed money. Murray is set to make approximately $3.6 million per year on average, which seemed like a steal at the time.

Then Mark Ingram signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

Ingram signs with Baltimore on a three-year deal at a $5 million per year average, after initial reports indicated Ingram was seeking $8 million per year. While we don’t know the details of the guaranteed money, on just average salary per year alone, Ingram would have only cost the Saints $1.4 million more per year.

But money isn’t everything.

So that begs the question: who would you rather the Saints have for 2019 and beyond? Murray on a four-year deal at $3.6 per year, or Ingram on a three-year deal at $5 million per? Vote in the poll. Explain in the comments. Send me presents.
