The Saints fourth round selection Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, safety from Florida, has signed his standard rookie deal with the team per his social media post. For a second round pick, the base contract is four years. It shouldn't take him long to see the field, as he should have an immediate impact with the team, whether that's a starting slot corner role or special teams, he should have a large impact right away.
CGJ was the first of the Saints rookies to sign his deal with the team, and with rookies reporting to the team’s facility today, expect them to start getting deals done with the whole rookie class.
