SB Nation introduced FanPulse last season, which focused on being the voice of the fan by polling NFL team fanatics for the most plugged-in readers. Each week, a new poll would be emailed out throughout the season that ranged from the overall confidence you had in your team to hot topics across the league to how you felt about the upcoming game.
You can sign up for our 2019 FanPulse Survey here.
The past question they asked is sure to interest New Orleans Saints fans, as it focused on which of the eight division winners from 2018 won’t repeat as champs this season. The Saints are among the lowest in the polling, coming in at just a 4.69% (in line with the Rams at 4.13%. The Chiefs (2.31%) and Patriots (1.90%) were the favorites to repeat. The Ravens (27.3%) were voted as the most unlikely team to give up their AFC North crown.

There’s a lot to be excited about with the Saints in 2019, most notably the team’s chance to really make a deep postseason run. Naturally, there’s a lot of season to get through and a tough September at hand facing four straight playoff teams from last season out of the gate, but it’s hard to say that Sean Payton doesn’t have another playoff caliber team on his hands. Drew Brees and company have a lot of exciting things to offer and build off of coming back from their mostly successful 2018 campaign.
