CBS with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo is the place to be if you aren’t in Seattle today, as the Seattle Seahawks (2-0) host the New Orleans Saints (1-1) in a late kickoff on Sunday from Centurylink Field. Here’s who won’t be playing today, as three players were previously ruled out due to injury.
- QB Drew Brees (thumb)
- DT Sheldon Rankins (Achilles)
- WR Tre’Quan Smith (ankle)
- CB Ken Crawley
- DB Saquan Hampton
- DE Carl Granderson
- OL Ethan Greenidge
Ted Ginn Jr. (thigh), Zach Line (knee), and Andrus Peat (ankle) were all full participants of practice on Friday. Recently signed linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong will see his first game with the Saints, with Lil’Jordan Humphrey and Austin Carr making their 2019 debuts. Crawley, Hampton, and Greenidge have been inactive through the team’s first three games of the season, and Granderson was just recently called up to be with the team.
Kickoff is not too far away, and it should be a pretty good one.
